Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Distributors inventory policy, their continuous optimization and for the INNIO inventory for spare parts business
  • Assure to collect/import/refresh the Distributors demand during the monthly Forecasting cycle and monitor weekly/monthly KPIs
  • Develop simulation tools/reports to control and predict deviations vs OP plan, manage the Return Material Authorization
  • Help to drive continuous improvement to optimize global inventory and Distributors inventory policy
  • Train the Distributors to set up and use the Inventory tool, support them in the daily operations
  • Define system requirements to bring Distributors demand inputs into the demand planning
  • Supervise and control the SMI (=Slow Moving Items) and identify actions to mitigate the obsolescence reserve
  • Coordinate the inventory re-distribution across the global network interfacing with local warehouses, demand planers and the finance team
  • Support the change and pro-actively identify and plan corrective actions and improvement initiatives

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree (e.g., Controlling, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering) or similar level of qualification
  • Solid work experience in inventory management area could be an alternative to university degree
  • Good planning experience in similar roles in complex, process driven companies and experience in demand planning and/or ideally in inventory management
  • Experience in MS-Office, especially good skills in Excel, project management, quantitative approach, statistical skills, and data analysis
  • Fluency in English, German ideal
  • A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.310,48 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
