Job Introduction

We are seeking a Solution Architect accountable for the system and solution architecture of our Air Traffic Management (ATM) IT Voice Solutions. As a key member of our Pre-Sales team, you will drive the technical and commercial design of complex offers, ensuring they are perfectly aligned with ATM market requirements, our business strategy, and our global delivery capabilities. You will provide strategic technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial Kick-off to the Critical Design Review (CDR) milestone, delivering high-impact IT voice solutions to our international customer base. Key Tasks
- Lead Complex Bidding Processes with focus on complex offers in technical and commercial part, as a key member of the Pre-Sales team.
- Own the Solution Design and, based on customer and market requirements, you will develop and take responsibility for integrated technical solutions that are aligned with the company's goals and create measurable added value for our customers.
- Bridge the Gap as the central interface between Product Management, Sales, Delivery, and Service. You will orchestrate complex solutions by seamlessly integrating proprietary tech with third-party products.
- Champion Innovation to drive the evolution of our portfolio. You ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge and perfectly aligned with future-proof industry standards.
- Architect Complex Concepts to transform technical complexity into winning proposals. You develop robust solution concepts and documentation that communicate "the why" as clearly as "the how" .
- Leading as a Subject Matter Expert and command the room during product demos, high-level presentations, and technical workshops, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to our internal and external clients.
- Strategic Project Lifecycle Support to provide expert guidance throughout the initial project phases--from the internal Kick-off to the Critical Design Review (CDR) milestone--ensuring technical integrity and alignment from day one.
Key Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Several years of professional experience in Requirements Engineering within the Telecom/IT sector and Industry expertise in ATM (Air Traffic Management) mission-critical communications or broadband networks is an advantage.
- Technical Depth: A rock-solid understanding of communication architectures and the nuances of safety-critical applications, as well as knowledge of the public procurement process and its specifics.
- The "Translator" Skillset: Expert communicator with a proven ability to translate deep technical complexity into clear, high-impact business value for diverse stakeholders.
- Natural Influencer: You are experienced in collaborative environments and have a proven ability to align stakeholders and drive results through influence rather than formal authority.
- Analytical Mindset: A structured, solution-oriented - you see challenges as puzzles waiting to be solved.
- Academic Education: A Master's degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ownership & Drive: You are a self-starter with a high customer-centric focus, ready to thrive in a complex-paced, high-innovation ecosystem.
- Willingness to travel: up to 40%

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 61.197 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
