Sales and Business Development Manager

Since 2003 we have served a wide range of different customers within hydrogen technologies by producing cutting-edge hydrogen fueling stations.

About the job:

We are offering you the opportunity to have a huge impact on the upcoming hydrogen mobility sector. In this role you will be responsible for driving commercial success of our company by identifying and analyzing business opportunities and developing strong, strategic relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire sales journey -- from the initial inquiry to contract signing and the handover to internal stakeholders -- ensuring clear communication, alignment, and delivery as planned.

The role includes leading the sales process, preparing both non-binding and binding offers, and managing internal approvals through detailed business cases and risk assessments. You will act as the customer's advocate within the organization, facilitating collaboration across departments to ensure smooth execution and long-term satisfaction.

You will represent Cavendish at key industry events, gather and analyze market intelligence, and maintain up-to-date CRM and sales documentation to support strategic planning and informed decision-making. Another core part of the role is ensuring our technology roadmap remains aligned with market expectations by feeding insights back into the organization.

Since this is a global position, up to 75 traveling days must be expected. The position can be placed in either Austria or Denmark.

Professional experience:

You are an experienced sales or business developer with a minimum of 5 years' experience from a similar commercial position - preferably from the oil, gas or wind industry. You excel in combining your technical knowledge with your commercial abilities to create strong and long-term relationships in different markets. Your preferred background is a bachelor's degree within technical engineering with a commercial mindset.

Networking is a key element hence you are open-minded and able to interact with colleagues, external partners, and customers. You demonstrate great patience and confidence and know how important it is to follow up on deliverables, ensuring everything is delivered as planned. You act with integrity and common sense and display strong verbal and written communication skills. You master English and German and preferable at least one other language at professional level.
