paper republic is one of the world's fastest growing brand of premium notebooks and leather accessories. We design, produce and ship our notebooks directly to 300.000 customers worldwide through our own ecommerce website. We are a dynamic international team of 100 people with more than 20 nationalities who like to develop and implement ideas together.
We are opening our new shop in the heart of Vienna's 1st district - a space that brings our global community together through a unique and immersive brand experience. Our new concept combines retail, product customisation, a café and an event space.
The pre-opening phase will take place in September at our current location in Vienna's 9th district. During the pre-opening, you'll gain hands-on experience with products, sales, inventory, and registers, learn our values, rotate through departments, and get to know the team -- all to prepare you for the shop opening in October.
Sales Associate (m/f/d)
24 hours or 16 hours per week - with the ability to work Fridays and Saturdays
Your Responsibilities:
- Create a memorable customer experience through your guidance and service.
- Drive sales success with targeted upselling and teamwork to meet store goals.
- Ensure merchandise is presented according to brand guidelines.
- Build strong customer relationships and brand loyalty and promote brand loyalty with a premium in-store experience.
- Collaborate with our marketing team by occasionally taking on the task of filming exciting behind-the-scenes moments or customer stories and providing the footage to the marketing team.
- Assist with shop relocation.
- Support the café team in the shop whenever needed and possible.
Your Profile:
- Ability to work every Saturday. The 16-hour position is for every Friday and Saturday. The 24-hour position is for every Saturday + 2 additional days.
- Passion for customer experience & personalised services, brand storytelling, and community-building.
- Basic sales or customer service experience is a plus.
- Experience in Content Creation is a plus.
- Fluent English and basic German is a must; other languages are a plus.

Salary
The actual minimum salary is 1,400 EUR gross per month (on a 24-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year.
