Based in Vienna paper republic is one of the leading manufacturers of premium leather notebooks and accessories in Europe with one of the fastest growing shopify stores in Austria, selling online worldwide from our workshop in Vienna. We are a dynamic diverse team of over 100 people with more than 20 nationalities who like to develop and implement ideas together, always learning and growing in the process. Now we're looking for someone to join us and help keep things moving smoothly behind the scenes.

Customer Support Specialist (m/f/d)

from 35h/week

Tasks

  • Manage daily email correspondence with customers, providing prompt and thoughtful responses.
  • Create personalized customer experiences through empathetic advice, detailed product explanations, and tailored recommendations.
  • Actively manage customer relationships by following up on inquiries, collecting feedback, and responding promptly to suggestions or concerns.
  • Use insights gained from customer interactions to help improve and develop our products.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve - and exceed - sales and service goals.
  • Support the fast and effective resolution of customer issues or complaints, always striving to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • You are motivated, communicative and enjoy engaging with people.
  • You serve as the first point of contact for our customers and handle their needs with care and passion.
  • You manage incoming complaints and work with internal teams to find effective solutions.
  • Ideally, you have previous experience in customer service or a call center environment.
  • Experience with Gorgias, Shopify, or Webshipper is an advantage.
  • You remain calm, flexible and solution-focused - even in stressful situations.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English. German or French is a plus.

Salary

The actual minimum salary is 1,925 EUR gross per month (on a 35-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year.
